He had served the Civil Service for 32 years before retiring in year 2005 as the Deputy Secretary General (Operations), Ministry of Finance. He was also the State Secretary to the Pahang State Government from year 2001 till year 2004. His dynamic & effective management approach and knowledge in the corporate matters had leaded him to be appointed as a Director and Chairman in several well-known public listed and international based companies in Malaysia.
